Budget-Friendly

In these trying times, people are left with very little money for expensive items. My choice for people in this situation is the ViscoSoft React. The React Mattress is just one of the two mattresses that are offered by ViscoSoft. They come in different sizes to meet every need. The twin mattress will set you back approximately $500, and the California King will only run you about $750. All of the React Mattresses are what are called “hybrid-style mattresses.” What that means is that they have traditional coils, but they are wrapped. Additionally, they have a foam top layer that protects you from the coils. As with most online mattresses, they offer many options for the top foam layer. ViscoSoft provides three options: contouring latex foam (aka memory foam), heat-dissipating foam, and gel-infused memory foam.

While ViscoSoft never mentions firmness, many customers report them to be medium-firm. I personally find this to be the best compromise between a mattress that is not firm enough and a mattress that is too firm.

If you or someone in your family needs that extra support, then you have come to the right place. Also, if the smell of traditional mattresses puts you off, rest assured you will receive no such smell from this mattress. That smell is what is commonly referred to as “off-gassing.” Avocado Green states the reason their mattresses lack that smell is due to the fact there are no chemicals in their mattresses such as chemical flame retardants, polyurethane, or cotton pesticides. You will genuinely get a great night’s sleep in these mattresses.

Light Sleepers

We all have that one family member that can be startled away by the sound of a fly three blocks away. That is why I am presenting to you the Nectar Lush. The Nectar Lush is the first mattress I have ever owned that is all foam and no springs.

With the lack of springs, you will no longer have the sounds associated with them. Even the hybrid-foam models have a small amount of squeaking sound associated with them. Since there are no springs in the Nectar Lush, you will not have that sound. Additionally, the mattress is said to cut down on motion transfer. This means that when someone else is sleeping in the bed and moves around, you will feel it less.

If you are a side or back sleeper and a light sleeper, this is definitely the mattress for you. I would not recommend this mattress to stomach sleepers. Honestly, it is just too firm to sleep on your stomach. Either of the other two beds on this list would satisfy that need. However, this one will let you sleep from sunset to sunrise without so much as a speck of noise.
